No one reads my blog. I tried to make it super detached from all feelings and emotions and real life, but now I give up. I thought after maybe a couple weeks someone would read my blog but no one has, and so I slowly stopping caring about posting everyday. I think I'll still continue to take pictures of food, only no longer will anyone see them. See ya.

So, admittedly, I'm not very adventurous when it comes to new foods, I usually stick to what I like. Tonight I went to a Thai food restaurant for the first time, but ended up only ordering tempura. I'm not complaining though, because it was delicious.

Okay, I'll admit it, I love making cupcakes. I think its my favorite dessert item to make. Since the cupcake batter was funfetti I decided that the frosting need to be 'fun' as well!

In my town there's a little tiny Mexican food place that has amazing burritos. It's called Ochoa's and I've recently discovered that I love their grilled chicken super burritos. They have the perfect amount of ingredients in every delicious bite!

For fathers day I bought my dad a German Chocolate cake. Turns out he doesn't like that kind of cake. :( He still had a good fathers day nonetheless.Cake and ice cream sure do love each other.

This is a simple asiago pasta salad you'll find in the deli section of grocery stores, but I think it's so yummy. Sadly I can only find it at Lucky's and Olivers. Tip: It tastes really good heated up as well.

My bestie, Issy, and I were in the mood for a salad. So we went all out and got our favorite toppings. We also made the vinaigrette dressing, which included pomegranate balsamic vinaigrette, lemon olive oil, and a touch of honey.

Veggie Delight pizza from Papa Murphy's. My favorite pizza, we get it almost every Friday.

The moment I took the first juicy bite of one of these cherries, it tasted like summer. I love how foods can remind you so clearly of a place or time.

There was leftover Oreos from the cookies so I wanted to use them up. The pie crust is Oreo and the filling is vanilla pudding with ground up Oreos in the mix and sprinkled on top.

Ordinary Cookie?

I think not!

This here is cookie with an Oreo in the middle. Tip: The cookie itself and the Oreo tastes best when it's warm and gooey, so when they've cooled off and you want to eat them again, stick one in the microwave for 15 or so seconds.

I wanted something interesting for dinner so I willed my dad into making enchiladas. It's actually a relatively  simple process, and so worth it. I added all the sides to make it complete.

Pot-stickers are definitely my favorite Chinese dish. And no other pot-stickers top Ling Ling's. Also the sauce is amazing, I wish I could buy a bottle of the sauce they served in the packets.

I love this pasta mix! You're supposed to make stuff with it
like meat or vegetables, but I love it plain.

Warm brownie right out of the oven taste the best with vanilla ice cream right on top.

I made this little snack because I was too lazy to make a tuna sandwich. In the end the sandwich would have  been more simple. All I did here was microwave spoonfuls of tuna with cheese then slid them on Rits crackers. I love love love avocado so I had to put little slices on top. Tip: Do not microwave the Rits crackers, even for like 15 seconds they lose their magic (yummyness) when heated up.

A mango had been sitting in our fridge for a few days, so I decided to make something of it. Sadly by the time I got around to cooking, the mango had gone bad. My mind was made up however so I went out and bought another mango and made these mango cupcakes

For mothers day a couple weeks ago, by brother and mom picked up some half pound burgers from Safeway. My dad, the manly man he is, fired up the barbeque and grilled the burgers to perfection. My mom and I got blue cheese burgers, and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had.

I've been thinking about doing this blog for a while now. The goal is to post a picture every single day. Just this morning I got my wisdom teeth out, and I have a sneaking suspicion that you guys will get a little bored after several pictures of pudding and jello. So I've decided to post pictures I took a while ago. This first one was taken with my phone camera so it's not the best quality, but it was seriously delicious.

This is Fettuccine Alfredo made with shrimp, spinach, and tomatoes, topped with parsley

Description

I love food! I want to shout my confession of love off every rooftop in the world! Okay no, not really, but food is a very big passion of mine. I love to cook it, I love to eat it and I’ve recently discovered that I love to take photos of it.

I believe that deep down we are all photographers.
Everyone can push down a button and capture that moment in time and make it last forever. To me, what makes a photographer really accomplished is the ability to see beauty in things that other people might not see. I see beauty in food. I see beautiful colors and textures and arrangements. And I don’t discriminate. All foods are created equal. By that I mean I’ll take pictures of every kind of food I eat and I most certainly won’t be the only person who creates the food. Some of it will be by my parents or my friends, or even restaurants I eat at.

I don’t know if anyone out there will have the same kind of enthusiasm I feel towards food, even so, here are my beautiful Every Day Foods: Made by You and Me.
